We compete with some of what we cover
Add to CRM sells a product. Our comparison and alternatives pages are written by a company that competes with several of the tools they discuss, so they are not neutral and should not be read as if they were. We say what each product does well as well as where it falls short, and we say where ours is not the right choice, but you should check anything that matters to you against the vendor's own pages.
Facts and sources
A comparison page we write or rewrite today is written from a dated fact sheet. The sheet is compiled from each vendor's own pricing and documentation pages, and the page is written only from it. Before the page is published, every price and every claim about another product is checked again against the page it came from. Pages written before we worked this way are being brought up to it, and the review line described below tells you which have been.
- Prices are the ones the vendor shows on the date we checked them. Vendors change prices, so a price on an older page may be out of date.
- A claim we cannot find on the vendor's own pages, or in a source we can name, is left out.
- Claims about Add to CRM come from what the product does and from our own pricing page.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft pages and to check them. A page is published only after it passes our checks: every price and every claim about another product is checked again against the page it came from, and the writing has to meet our own rules. A page that carries a person's name is read by that person once it is live. AI is not a source: a fact in a page has to be traceable to a vendor page or to our own product, whoever or whatever wrote the sentence.
Whose name is on a page
Most pages carry the company's name. A page that says Reviewed by Phil McParlane, Founder had its claims checked against their sources before it was published, as described above, and Phil McParlane reads each such page once it is live. The date shown is the day the page was checked. We do not put a name on a page that has not been through that check. Older pages are brought up to it as time allows, so a page without the line may not have been through it.

The star rating on this site is taken from the Chrome Web Store reviews of our extensions, and it is shown with the number of reviews it comes from. We do not edit it or round it up.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, tell us at phil@addtocrm.com, with the page and what you found. We check it against the source and correct the page. If you work for a company we have written about and a fact about your product is out of date, the same address reaches the person who can fix it.
