Use Add to CRM in ChatGPT and Claude

Ask your assistant to find someone's contact details, check whether they are already in your CRM, and add them, without leaving the chat. It works with 29+ CRMs, uses the same field mapping and default tags as the extension, and your assistant asks you to approve anything that changes your CRM.

ChatGPT

Adding an app by its address needs ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web. A workspace admin turns on developer mode first.

  1. In developer mode, create a new app and paste the address above as its server address.
  2. Choose OAuth for sign-in, then run the tool scan.
  3. Connect, and sign in to your Add to CRM account.
  4. Check what ChatGPT will be able to do, then choose Allow access.

Claude

Custom connectors work on Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds it for the organization first, then each person connects.

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose to add a custom connector.
  2. Name it Add to CRM, paste the address above, and add it.
  3. Choose Connect and sign in to your Add to CRM account.
  4. Check what Claude will be able to do, then choose Allow access.

Open Claude with the connector filled in. Claude shows the name and address for you to check before anything is added.

Claude Code

Add the connector from your terminal:

Other assistants

Any assistant that can connect to a remote MCP server with sign-in can use the address above. Add it, sign in to Add to CRM when asked, and approve what the assistant may do. We have only checked the ones named on this page, so the steps for others may differ.

What happens to your data

  • You approve each assistant on a screen that names it, shows its address and lists what it can do. You can disconnect it any time under Connections, AI apps in your dashboard, and it stops straight away.
  • Contact details you look up appear inside the assistant. To keep them out of model training, turn training off there: ChatGPT data controls, Claude privacy settings.
  • Lookups use the same credits as the extension: one credit when an email is found, and nothing when it is not. Adding people to your CRM never uses credits.
